They won the individual trophy in the Cambs Youth Sailing League, repeating last year's success, as well as being part of this year's winning team.

Their successful year has included winning the Mirror Eastern Area Travellers' Trophy for the third year running.

They took part in the Mirror European Championships in Ireland as part of the UK Youth Squad.

They have been re-selected for the British team for the 1999 World Championships, this time in South Africa. They took part in the last World Championships in Canada, 1997.
