CSC member Louise Johnson has been selected to sail in the Millennium Round the World Race. Her application put Louise on the interview short-list and on the basis of the interview she was selected to join a crew on one of the 10 Farr Millennium 65 yachts.

Louise, now aged 17, will be 19 when she takes part. She'll be one of a crew of 15 on the last phase of the race, comprising two legs, from Recife in Brazil to the Azores and from the Azores to Portsmouth. The race is due to leave Recife on 8 August 2000 and the boats should reach Portsmouth around mid-September.
