Lawrence was Young Sportsperson of the Month last November and so is now a candidate for being Young Sports Person of the Year. The next stage is for the public to vote for three finalists, either in the Cambridge Evening News of Wednesday, 6 June 2001 (or on the Cambridge Evening News website, though they don't seem to have put up the voting form on the web yet — Monday evening — only the form for nominating monthly winners. Don't use that by mistake!).

So please give Lawrence your support — go through the sports section of the paper on Wednesday, find the voting coupon, fill it in and send it off to get to the Cambridge Evening News (address on the coupon) before Friday, 15 June.
