Overall (under 19): William & Rachel leave juniors with decisive win

In William's last year qualifying as a junior, William Winter and Rachel Cole sailed their Mirror with their usual skill. They were run away winners yet again, this time out of a field of 37. Other creditable performances were Chris Baumbach 5th and Lawrence Mansfield 7th. This is an excellent result for Lawrence, considering he still qualifies for the under 13s (see right-hand column).

Under 16s: Some tough competition!

It was in the under-16 group that the CSC faced it's toughest competition, with Ely SC taking the first two places, but Dale Winter and Andrew Davis managed to sail their Mirror into 3rd place and Steve McGill was 8th.

Under 13s: WOW, what results!

Despite losing some of the older juniors in 2000, the CSC certainly has a wealth of young talent to take their place. Six of the first seven under-13 places went to CSC sailors:
1st Lawrence Mansfield
2nd Oliver Tweddell (aged 8 for the whole season!)
3rd Neil Howett
4th Simon Martin
5th Helen Howett
7th Karl Baumbach.
