Visiting

The best times to come are Saturday afternoon up to about 4 pm or all day Sunday till about 5 pm. It might be a good idea to let us know what time you're planning to come - see the list of contacts and ring the Hon Sailing Sec or the Hon Membership Sec.

Directions

The CSC is about 5 miles north and slightly east of the centre of Cambridge. It's at Clayhithe, just outside Waterbeach on the road to Horningsea. It is within easy reach from the A14 (was A45 pre-1995), via the A10 and the village of Waterbeach, see below.

From Cambridge   Depending where in Cambridge you're coming from, you can go via:

Via Waterbeach Leave Waterbeach past the station. After a few hundred yards the road bends fairly sharply right. Turn left at the beginning of this bend on to a short track that leads to the CSC entrance.

or

Via Horningsea Leave Horningsea on the road towards Waterbeach. After about 1.3 miles the road turns sharp left over the River Cam and then more gently right round the Bridge Hotel. After about another hundred yards or so the road bends quite sharply left. At the beginning of the bend, fork right on to a short track behind some trees (leaving the entrance to the Cambridge Motorboat Club on your right) to the CSC entrance.
