What are our key tasks? We want to encourage the community to keep in touch by use of the Internet

Key Tasks in 1996/1997 and looking ahead to 1997/1998

Now is the time to start thinking about next year's key tasks for thesportspages. These are set by the whole sports pages volunteers team andare a way for us to move forward. They give us the opportunity to reflectcritically on what we do and how we might be doing things better.

• Develop volunteers knowledge and awareness of sports pages on the Internet for the Cambridge area

• Extend volunteer's information pages to keep a good volunteer base

• Broaden/expand the sports pages base, so each individual sport has its own editor by the end of 1997.

Now for key tasks in 1996/1997

Here are some ideas to start

• What pages do we want to see grow?

• Internet health tips - ie ergonomics

Are there any volunteers out there who would like to help out from time to time in securing interesting items for the running pages? If so, please contact the Sports Editor at sports-ed@cam.net.uk

It is up to YOU to choose the direction in which the sports pages go, so do it now before someone else covers it!
