The Fen Rivers Way is a very special long distance footpath created by people from parishes between Ely and Cambridge. It is soon to be extended to Kings Lynn and Granchester ... watch this space.
New pictures of the Fen Rivers Way shows a few new pictures of the route and the work we have been doing on it.
The maps of the fens in 1645 are from a map I have which is a very treasured possession, showing how the fens were before they were drained. It is a quite beautiful map.
The Cambridge Freenet is something of which I am a supporting member. We want to give everyone access to the 'net and the world of electronic communication. There are Freenets all over the world and we are busy linking up with them.
Brant Freenet is a Canadian Freenet which I visited when I was in Canada this February. They are a great bunch of people who were very helpful to me and gave lots of ideas and advice. The notes tell a little of how they run their organisation.
Postcards of Cambridge show some of the views which make Cambridge a special place.
The picture of Paul's sheep is pure advertising...Paul and Ali sell sheep which make excellent low maintenance pets...try one.
Mondhuie, near Nethy Bridge, is where Dave and Cathy Mordaunt live. They have a wonderful house and two great cabins for hire ....marvellous for a holiday in the Cairngorms and right by Loch Garten.
Butley Pictures are for the Coombs tribe! The Family pics are for for fun...for friends.
