A sailing club on the Cam???

If you've seen the River Cam in Cambridge, you may find it hard to believe there's a sailing club on such a narrow river. It's a little wider where we sail and we have a good stretch of water that's clear of trees. The CSC has thrived on the Cam since 1899.

Where is it?

The CSC is just north of Cambridge, England, at the hamlet of Clayhithe near Waterbeach. It's the nearest sailing club to the city of Cambridge, set in spacious grounds along the banks of the Cam. See directions & map.

• More information about navigating these pages
The CSC website has been at this address since January 1997, with only one break, which was beyond our control and luckily out-of-season, when CamNet was down from the end of October 2003 till early February 2004.
John Harris has looked after it throughout.
