Dances of Universal Peace: a powerful & joyful spiritual practice & experience, chanting while dancing in a circle. Ralph’s & Vitalija’s style is intense, deep into the heart - and yet light and humorous, supported with drum & guitar.
We love playing with polarities by offering a mix of fiery ecstatic dances, slow meditative flowing movements, joyful Jewish dances, harmony Hallelujas, Sufi zikrs, lots of partner dances - and adding harmonies (men and women singing different voices at the same time). No experience in singing or dancing required. Everyone is welcome: "If you can talk, you can sing. If you can walk, you can dance" (African saying).

Ralph Nimmann is a Quaker & Subud member and a certified peace dance teacher. He has led days and weekends in Britain, Germany and Latvia on several occasions. Fri 1 June - Sat 9th June 2012: Sacred Arts - International DUP & Voice Camp OxfordshireA potentially life changing experience: singing and dancing with up to 300 adults in concentric circles in a big marquee - meeting peace dancers from many countries - opening hearts...Attending this camp is like a journey and initiation into the heart of the Dances of Universal Peace - a taste of heaven on earth... all on a guaranteed mud free camp site! DUP leaders: Maris Warrior, Rabia Dowson, Jilani Prescott, Daren Messenger, Sandra Sunfire & other English DUP teachers, harmony singing with voice teachers, yoga, meditations, rituals, campfires, camp café & shop, Wellbeing area, Sweat Lodge, hot-showers, womens activities & MUCH more... An ideal family camp with separate programmes for various age groups (we usually have around 100 young people at the camp). Ticket Prices: £170 per adult - £80 per young adult (19 - 26) - £50 per teenager (13 -18) - £40 per child (5 - 12) - infants free.
