"I am writing on behalf of Cambridge Inter-Faith Group. The Group has arranged a combined Faith Fair and Celebration of Community for Sunday afternoon, 20 November 2011, which is the first day of the national Inter Faith Week.

We are now inviting faith groups and faith organizations to book a stall for the Faith Fair and/or ask to have a speaker included in the Celebration of Community. If you represent a faith group or organization, please let me know in the next week or two if you would like book a stall or ask to have a speaker. If your booking or request is provisional, that is fine at this stage.

The venue this year is the same as in 2010. The Centre has a large car park. There will be no charge for entry to the event or for refreshments or for car parking. Stallholders will be charged £5 per stall. If a non-faith group wishes to have a stall, we will consider it, but the charge will be higher. The room is booked from 1.00 to 5.00 p.m.
We envisage starting the Celebration of Community at 2.00 p.m., with the Mayor of Cambridge as first speaker. The theme this year is “Faith in everyday life.” We envisage that stallholders will set out their stalls during the hour before 2.00 p.m. and that the refreshments will be available as soon as the Celebration speakers have finished. The room is quite large, with plenty of room for stalls.

We would like as many people as possible to know about the event and so we would be grateful for whatever you feel able to do in publicizing it.
David Wilman (Chairman and Secretary)
