Fri 28 Jan: Cambridge Inter-Faith Group AGM, 7.45 for 8 pm

The Cambridge Inter-Faith Group invites all to our Annual General Meeting with an open discussion on how best to represent both majority and minority faiths in public events in Cambridge. Given that by far the majority of 'people of faith' in the city are Christian, how can their numerical weight be both acknowledged and affirmed whilst allowing much smaller faith groups to be heard and listened to?
Also the chair Ralph Nimmann plans to move to Latvia and the committee needs "new blood"- so you are invited to get involved.

Sharing the Sacred, Serving the World

Come and find out a little about this unique project, where 15 mixed-faith young people went to the Parliament of the World's Religions in Barcelona last year, in what was the experience of a lifetime, and collected material to produce an exhibition and an inter-faith resource pack for schools. solidarity visit to the Cambridge Mosque

After the bomb attacks in London, the Cambridge Inter-Faith Group invites all people of faith to a symbolic solidarity visit to the Cambridge Mosque this Saturday for the short noon prayer at 1:15pm.
We feel sympathy with the vast majority of the Muslim community, when their religion gets abused by a tiny minority and is publicly connected with terrorism. How would you feel if your faith were repeatedly named and shamed for terrorist attacks?
Please remove your shoes and wash yourself if you can before entering the prayer room of the Mosque (washrooms are inside) - ladies should cover their head.
