Pymoor - Church Parade

The procession appears to be making its way down the narrow track towards the school.  The school was built in the 1870s, and also served as the church.  Because so many of the other photographs in the collection from which these pictures were taken date from the early 1950s and because of the presence of the Union Jacks, and the girl with flowers (and apparently a crown) is this connected with the coronation of Elizabeth II?  I am told that it is Eric Saberton who is holding the cross and Lily Bell appears to be acted the role of Queen.
