The Club has been established for over 30 years and was founded through the hard work and co-operation of many members from the parish and surroundings. The Club belongs to and is run by its members on a non-profit making basis. A primary aim of the Club is to retain and promote what is so sadly lost in many towns and villages these days - a genuine community spirit.
The Club offers many activities in addition to cricket. There is a thriving darts team, a dominoes team, an indoor bowls team, a pool team, and this year the Club is looking to start a football team. There are other regular activities including ladies keep-fit, line dancing, monthly prize bingo and regular Club quizzes. Other entertainments are arranged throughout the year including discos, dinner dances, live music, functions and live cabaret. The club is open for a drink and a chat in a quiet friendly atmosphere to visitors, members and their guests of all ages, including the less active. For further details or if you are interested in joining, please contact the above number or just call in to the Club any evening.
