What is CPRE Cambridgeshire?

CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England) is a national charity:

  • helping people protect their local countryside where there is threat
  • enhancing it where there is opportunity
  • keeping it beautiful, productive and enjoyable for everyone

Our Patron is Her Majesty The Queen, and our President is Sir Max Hastings.

We have 48,000 supporters, a branch in every county, eight regional groups, over 200 local groups and a national office in Westminster.

CPRE is a powerful combination of effective local action and strong national campaigning.

CPRE is the most effective body protecting our countryside. In Cambridgeshire, we ensure our views are heard and taken into account when future development is planned.
