Sufi Group meeting fortnightly in Cambridge, Thursday evenings in north Cambridge near the Elizabeth Way Bridge. We will use simple chants, prayers, readings from Hazrat Inayat Khan, breathing practices, wasifa practice and poetry from Rumi. Fri 28rd May - Sat 5th June 2010: Sacred Arts - International DUP & Voice Camp Oxfordshire A potentially life changing experience: singing and dancing with up to 300 adults in concentric circles in a big marquee - meeting peace dancers from many countries - opening hearts... Attending this camp is like a journey and initiation into the heart of the Dances of Universal Peace - a taste of heaven on earth... all on a guaranteed mud free camp site! Including: Amida Harvey, Sylvia Diaz (Colombia), Maite (Spain) and Maris (Scotland) & more English DUP teachers, harmony singing with voice teachers, yoga, meditations, rituals, campfires, camp café & shop, Wellbeing area, Sweat Lodge, hot-showers, womens activities & MUCH more... An ideal family camp with separate programmes for various age groups (we usually have around 100 young people at the camp). CHANGE: closing date for bookings is Tuesday 25th of May!
