You can find links to over 500 local currency systems around the world at www.cyberclass.net/turmel/urlsnat.htm No doubt that any IOUs (I owe you) you earn from anyone will be spendable at any one of these 500 locations. Everyone there belongs to a local currency and understand the they are merely our own IOUs which we trade amongst ourselves. Those IOUs for night's accommodations will be as valuable to everyone on the list as they are to me. They are not to be sneezed at.

It works like this. People who stay with you email you an IOU worth 5 Hours (1 Hour = $10US as in the Ithaca system) which you can then redeem if you should then visit their cities and stay at their homes in exchange for an IOU worth 5 Hours. It is simple barter of accommodations using time as our medium of exchange. You can see how I've accounted for it at my web page called www.cyberclass.net/turmel/lets.htm

LETS barter in EUROPE

We are one of the largest barter-companies in Europe and provide an increasing internet-service for our members since 5 years. This starts with information about offers and demands and barter-transaction-bookings via internet.

In addition to that, we run an automated E-mail-service, which sorts information about offers and demands automatically and sends the information to our members. Our members, branch-offices and EBB-cooperation-partners can request their actual barter-balance via internet.

We are capable of doing barter-businesses in any currency between different barter-organisations. Each single booking is calculated in EURO with the corresponding currency-value.

CamLETS added to international Project LETS List on the web

LETS List http://skyport.com/cheesemelt/letslist is a free online database you can edit, and aims to complete the first world-wide census of community currency groups (LETS, HOURS, and Time Dollars).

LETS List is in fact a worldwide database managed and kept up-to-date by LETS enthusiasts. As of this writing, 46 LETS administrators now manage the LETS List database, which has 'live' links to 84 LETS websites and hundreds of individual entries. LETS List also provides a search engine to retrieve matching entries by keyword, country, or region.

LETS LIST is intended as a forum for self- description, and chances are our description of your com- munity currency group was brief and not very informative.

You can search by country, calling up all LETS matches for "Australia", or enter "HOURS" as a keyword to retrieve all HOURS systems currently in the database.

We hope you have fun with Project LETS List! Although we have a long way to go to complete the first accurate census, we believe the site is the largest compendium of LETS-related links on the internet.
