Diplom engineer for town- and regional planning. Beside this I did esoteric seminar- and lecture-organization in Berlin. Since 1995 I've been organizing workshops for Dances of Universal Peace & Chanting in Berlin, since 1996 as well in England. At the moment I am working part time as a home carer. I am also self-employed with cleaning and gardening ("Rainbow Care - work is love in action").
Self experience
I learned a lot about myself ar the "experience week" of the Findhorn Foundation - www.findhorn.org in Scotland,
in a "Gestalt therapy" education, Workshops: "Creative refocussing" with Rainer Taeni, "Death and Separation", "You can't understand me - male an female reception", "SCRIPT - family roots", the "METANOIA-Process" (one week intensive). All my previous relationships and marriage have been inspiring and a never ending source of self reflection.
Musical and voice experience:
As a boy I sang at a Church choir. then I played French horn for 10 years in different youth-orchestras.
Later I joined the Berlin street band "Ramba Samba" playing Brazilian music and began with drumming and percussion. After attending the weekly "Chanting" for two years, I started leading the Chanting group Berlin in 1991 with voice and percussion.
I attended workshop with Nadine George: "Developing the human voice". 1996 I started singing in a spiritual choir and went to the international Conference "Songs of Heaven & Earth" in Findhorn and to a residential training week for leaders of singing groups with the English folk singer Frankie Armstrong.
Experience with Dancing
I love dancing as a self-expression. After joining a group of "Sacred Dance" (Findhorn-dances) regularly and later also folk dancing, from 1991 on I went to several workshops of the "Dances of Universal Peace" with Noor & Akbar, Saadi Neil Douglas Klotz, Tansen Philip O'Donohoe and regular dance meetings.

Skills in group-leading
For two years I went on a "Gestalt-therapy" education. On several visits to the Findhorn Community in Scotland I attended various residential workshops. Two times I participated at the workshop: "The Art of leading a group" by Karin Werner / Findhorn and "New games". For one year from 1992 on I was leading a weekly open group "Rhetoric and communication" together with Detlef Zein. After that I lead a weekly open group: "Happy - Movement, Silence, Self-expression, Singing, Relaxation". Since 1991 I lead at least one dance every Sunday for 5 years in the Berlin Chanting group.
1995 I started giving regular workshops together with Carien Wijnen (a Singer, voice therapist, healing practitioner and medical doctor): "Sing yourself free!". I led as well "Chanting-Intensive"-weekends together with musicians and a breath-therapist, from 1996 as well in England with the ex-opera singer Carolin Comberti. Since 1997 I led a weekly evening at the Cambridge Centre, from December '97 held at the Viktoria Road Community Centre, later in the Odd Fellow's Hall and until June 2002 in Bharat Bhavan and 2-monthly Peace Dance and Chanting evenings in St. Neots.
Spiritual background
I visited several workshops in Berlin and Findhorn Foundation - www.findhorn.org ("Living Peace"), also visited India for three months (Sai Baba, Brahma Kumaris, Osho), Yoga classes, a Buddhist meditation week, autogene training, fire walking with Jabrane Sebnat / Morocco, Shamanic travelling. I did the one year-"Course in Miracles".
From 1990 to 1996 I attended a weekly meditation group of the Healer and Meditation teacher Yashi Kunz (she's clairvoyant and working with colours and forms). One year education at the "Kosmologen-Akademie" Switzerland, including a week in Egypt and meditation in the great pyramid in 1995.
In 1996 my cosmic name ORTARIMUR was revealed to me and I came to England. I attended the Hartington Grove Quaker Meeting, the Saffron Walden Spiritual Development Group and a class in "Centering Prayer". I am a member of the Cambridge Subud Group since September 1998, which I join twice weekly. Since December 2001 I am their chairman. I am also in the executive committee of the Cambridge Inter-Faith Group and the chairman since December 2002.
In May 2002 I was baptised Russian Orthodox in Riga and given the name Raphael.
REIKI I & II, Two weeks "Healing the Course - spiritual healing" with Micheal Dawson / Findhorn, "Pranic healing " (via the aura) with Choa Kok Sui / Philippines, I use the Bach-flowers since 1984 and can give foot reflexology. I seem to be rather good in helping people, especially when they face up severe crisises (I've been through difficult times myself). And definitely the chanting is very therapeutic and healing as well.
My personality:
Humorous, spontaneous, outgoing personality, sensitive, can feel the rhythm matching to the melody, powerful voice, good group leader, good adviser for people's problems (except my own...), experienced in leading group-meditations. I am a lover of truth - even if it's painful. I have a talent connecting people. Some say I have a big heart.
