Kalyan
Thy music causeth my soul to dance;
In the murmer of the wind I hear Thy flute;
The waves of the sea keep the rhythm of my dancing steps.

Through the whole of nature I hear Thy music played, my Beloved;
My soul while dancing speaketh of it's joy in song.

Hazrat Inayat Khan - Gayan / Ragas

UPDATE: currently 3 Latvian women have booked and want to spend some time before this weekend in London. Are there any peace dancers around London, who would be happy to host them for a night or 2 from Wednesday 15th Oct?

Be prepared for a joyful, intensive and relaxing weekend. The weekend will mostly consist of Dances of Universal Peace, some Taizé harmony singing Sunday morning and breaks to relax and explore the surroundings of the farm in the Chess Valley, north west of London.

It is possible to come for one day only, but staying over night is recommended and will allow you to enjoy the dances & the weekend much deeper. Beginners are warmly welcome - no experience of singing or dancing required.

"If you can talk, you can sing. If you can walk, you can dance" (African saying).
Children are very welcome, if they like singing and dancing - otherwise chances are high they will be bored - and disturb.

The leader Ralph Nimmann is a certified peace dance teacher and has shared dances with many people in Britain, Germany and Latvia on several occasions and is experienced in creating a relaxed joyful and open atmosphere. He usually supports teh dances with his drum.
His wife Vitalija accompanies the dances with gitar. Together they create a harmonious atmosphere.
