This weekend we will sing and dance Dances of Universal Peace with 2 or more voices or simple rounds
This is the 1st time, that Ralph is combining his passion for harmony singing with the Dances of Universal Peace - for a whole weekend! You will be surprised how many dances consist of melodies and counter melodies - and you may discover the magic of singing in harmonies with others. This weekend is suitable for complete newcomers as well as "old" peace dancers. It may be of special interest for voice teachers: you will learn lots of harmony dance chants - and movements with them. This may be something you might like to include in your next singing workshop... Be prepared for a joyful, intensive and relaxing weekend. If you like to lead a dance, please contact Ralph. We'll also use our Angel Cards, planetary walks, chakra toning and other practices to deepen the experience

Peace Dancing with Ralph at Loudwater Farm, London-Rickmansworth, July 2009
|
HARMONY is the source of manifestation, the cause of its existence, and the medium between God and man.
The peace for which every soul strives, and which is the true nature of God and the utmost goal of man, is but the outcome of harmony; this shows, that all life's attainments without a sense of harmony are but vein. It is the attainment of harmony which is called heaven, and it is the lack of it which is termed hell. Hazrat Inayat Khan - from chapter III "HARMONY" in "The Mysticism of Music Sound and Word" |
"If you can talk, you can sing. If you can walk, you can dance" (African saying).
Children are very welcome, if they like singing and dancing - otherwise chances are high they will be bored - and disturb.
It is possible to come for one day only, but staying over night is recommended and will allow you to enjoy the dances & the weekend much deeper. Beginners are warmly welcome - no experience of singing or dancing required.
It is possible to arrive already Friday evening and stay the night at Loudwater Farm - please arrange with Ralph (beds need booking).
Also possible to stay on for Sunday night (to make it a long weekend).
"Dear Ralph and all, my feedback for the w/e at Loudwater:
for me this weekend was about connecting to the group. We were a small group and I had met everyone before except for one person, and as we moved deeper into the dance the heart connection with everyone became deeper and deeper until even the cooking and washing up together felt like a joyful celebration!
Thank you Ralph, Vitalija and everyone. In Peace, Angela d B" (Cambridge, October 2009)
