Taizé harmony chanting has become popular in many places. It has spread far beyond the domain of Christian groups. Taizé songs are sung on workshops, around camp fires, during voice camps and at groups, which are not strictly Christian.
This page gives an overview about possibilities to join and experience the magic of Taizé harmonies around Cambridge.
About harmony chanting
Taizé chants and rounds are simple and create this special magic which sometimes sends shivers down the spine. The harmonies can resonate with the soul and uplift the spirit. The texts are short, mostly 1 to 4 Latin (a sacred language) words or one English phrase.
