The 1st May boat of 1869 about which the then Secretary writes: "very creditable to a College of 9 rowing members ... no Club has ever owed more to any of its members than King's has to their first University oar, F.E. Cunningham" (who was the first Kingsman to gain a Blue in 1867). F.E. Cunnigham is the fifth from the left.
The crew started 17th and bumped Caius, 1st Trinity III, Pembroke and Magdalene.
