The Crown in Linton
is having a beer festival on 4-5 May, with 17 beers.
Greene King have rebranded the Blue Lion in Fen Ditton as a "Hungry
Horse", misleadingly labelling it a "Free House".
The Dykes End in Reach was named
Village Pub of the Year
by the trade paper the Morning Advertiser.
However landlord and landlady Phil and Tess Vincent
have sought fresh challenges by moving on to the Anchor in Burwell
and the Dykes End has a temporary couple in charge.

The Admiral Vernon in Over is being refurbished and is due to reopen in May.

The Swan, Little Totham, Essex, is the CAMRA National Pub of the Year.
The Good Beer Guide 2003 describes it as a "Delightful
Grade II listed cottage pub set behind a pleasant garden. A good
selection of beers includes a house ale from Mighty Oak. Essex CAMRA
Pub of the Year 2000 and 2001, the cosy saloon, with its low ceiling
and beams is complemented by a traditional public bar with a 1950s bar
